22-year-old fast bowler Nahid Rana has been added to Bangladesh's squad for their upcoming three-match T20I series against the West Indies, starting December 16 in St. Vincent. This marks his first inclusion in the T20I squad, having previously represented Bangladesh in six Tests and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
Rana has been an integral part of Bangladesh's Test setup, playing a key role in the historic 2-0 series sweep against Pakistan. He has taken 20 wickets in Test cricket and added four more to his tally in ODIs. His impressive performances in the longest format of the game have earned him a spot in the T20I squad for the series against the West Indies.
The series will kick off on Monday, December 16, at the Arnos Vale Ground in St. Vincent. Bangladesh are currently on an all-format tour of the West Indies, having drawn the Test series 1-1. However, the visitors suffered a 3-0 whitewash in the ODI series, and they will be hoping for a strong comeback in the T20Is.
